Palmetto’s Initial Consultation consists of one of our dedicated Project Specialist to come out to your home to review your scope of work while giving guidance on any questions you may have. When you decide to move forward with a Design Consultation, the project specialist will start documenting your home by taking pictures and exact measurements. This will ensure that your rendering has everything you and your Project Specialist talked about as well as accuracy in your 3D rendering.
In your Design Consultation, you will view both your 3D rendering and written project estimate. In the days leading up to your meeting, our Designer, Project Specialists, Project Director, and Fulfillment team are all making sure that we are creating a project tailored to your desired budget and scope. We will make adjustments in real-time during that meeting to ensure you are comfortable with the plan moving forward!
Once your contract and deposit are set, we will set up an Initial Walkthrough. This includes our Field staff, Fulfillment team, and Project specialists to take a look at your space. They will reconfirm measurements, schedule a Fulfillment Meeting, confirm your design and start preparing to order your raw materials. At this point, we are also doing the paperwork to pull permits to get this project going in the right direction.
In your Fulfillment Meeting you’ll get the teams experts advice on selections, materials, appliances and more. Once you all meet for the first time to select your materials, another meeting will occur in order to approve everything and make any last minute changes if needed. Since our team is dedicated to being detail oriented, you’ll also be receiving a specification rendering sheet that outline exactly where all of your selections will go. This is to ensure that you know the placement of where everything is going as well as the field crew. The last step is to start ordering your materials.
In order to guarantee project efficiency, we don’t start any project until all the materials are at your home. This ensures that there’s no breaks in schedule because of material holdups. In this pre-construction meeting, our Field crew will come out to walk the space, confirm all materials and schedule a start date.
Your renovation process will consist of many procedures such as demolition, installation, electrical, plumbing, and more. It all varies depending on what your specific project needs are. At every step of our process, we have inspections and permits to abide by. This will guarantee that everything is up to code since we warranty our work for up to a year. We also start templating for glass and countertops at this point.
We want you to be a part of the process by making sure that everything is up to your desire. Once your project is close to completion, we will schedule a final walkthrough with your punch list. We then go back to add all the finishing touches and complete what you have on your list. At this point, the countertop and glass installation will be happening.
Your project has now been completed to your exact vision. Enjoy and relax as you have a 1-year warranty on all labor performed. You will also have a 2-year warranty on all products purchased through our Fulfillment Department. Throughout that time if you see any problems, call us and we’ll come back and fix it.
